On July 26, SCDC Electronic Materials Technology Company will invest in the construction of an "20,000-ton-per-year OLED display technology optical-grade polyester-based film project."
The total investment of the project is 31.7 million yuan. It is estimated that it will take 28 months from the project design to the completion of the project. It is expected to be put on the market in the first half of 2021.
This project is used to produce optical-grade polyester-based films related to OLED display technology, mainly including polarizer release film base films, polarizer protective films, high-proof explosion-proof film barrier film base films, and MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) release films Base film and so on.
In addition, Dongcai Technology once completed and put into production the "20,000-ton-per-year optical-grade polyester-based film project" in Hai'an in 2016. Its products are mainly used in display screens of mobile phones such as Huawei, Samsung, and Apple.
