Lai Yiren observes that the mobile phone market is changing rapidly. Glass and plastic lenses are used in mobile phones to respond to market demand. In response to the needs of mobile phone brand customers for wide-angle shooting and zooming, large apertures and high resolution functions are also required. At this stage, Yaguang has been developing periscope glass and plastic lenses with about two mobile phone brand customers. The possible shipment time is expected to fall in November this year, and the wide-angle lenses developed by it are expected to begin shipping.

Recently, the market has paid close attention to the development trend of mobile phone lenses. For industry competitors' continued optimism about the prospects of other structured products, Lin Enping, CEO of Daliguang, recently analyzed that he could not see the advantages of hybrid lenses with glass and plastic lenses applied to smartphones. Of course, glass lenses do have a certain degree of advantages in the automotive and outdoor markets, but as far as they are used in smartphones, there is already one lens in the periscope lens, and it is not sensitive to heat. The hybrid lens with glass and plastic lenses has no relative advantage when applied to smart phones.

In response to this, Lai Yiren responded at a French press conference today. Matte Focus has invested in zoom lenses. At this stage, all-plastic lenses have limited functions. They can only achieve about 3x zoom. Low, there is a certain degree of defects. If you add aspherical molded glass, you can break through the restrictions of all plastic lenses, and achieve specifications such as large aperture, high resolution, and 5x zoom that are not possible with all plastic lenses. With the continuous improvement of the product portfolio, the profit performance this year is expected, and there is a good chance that it will be better than last year.

Corresponding to the business opportunities of unmanned stores, Yaguang has joined hands with the Japanese R & D center. In the cooperative research and development, both parties need laser and sensing instruments, which is one of the directions that Yaguang invests in the future and strives to develop.

The market is concerned about the current situation of Yaguang's supply of automotive lenses. Lai Yiren said that from a car equipped with about 7 lenses to observe, Yaguang supplies about 2 lenses. As production officially entered the track, it became smoother and smoother. Rain and dew all stick. The monthly output of Model S and Model X owned by American electric vehicle manufacturers is about 10,000. As for Model 3, about 400,000 orders cannot be mass-produced, which made the market nervous during the first half of the year, but it has gradually turned around since the second quarter. Under the adjustment and improvement of Yaguang's product mix in the second quarter, the revenue in the second quarter of this year was about NT $ 5,068 million, an increase of approximately 24% quarterly; the gross profit margin was approximately 19.7%; the after-tax surplus was approximately 292 million yuan, a quarterly increase of approximately 216%; Net profit per share was about 1.04 yuan, writing down a record high for Yaguang in the third quarter, with a quarterly increase of 215% and an annual increase of about 49%; non-industry income of about 161 million yuan, of which about 100 million yuan came from the depreciation of the New Taiwan dollar and the RMB , Betting on matt exchange gains. Mainly due to the industry's foreign exchange revenue and increased gross profit margins, Yaguang's net profit per share in the first half of this year was about 1.37 yuan, an annual increase of about 69%.

Yaguang has successfully expanded its automotive and medical services this year. With good results in niche business products, its revenue in the first half of this year has increased by about 2% compared with the same period last year.

In terms of product structure, the company's product line for this year's camp includes sports car lenses, laser ranging modules for sweeping robots, medical equipment, sights and other product lines. As Yaguang received blessings from customers of US-based electric vehicle brand customers, and the kinetic energy of orders for the laser ranging module ODM for Xiaomi's sweeping robot continued to rise, it led to the off-season in the second quarter of this year, and the second-quarter revenue. It is a step higher than the first quarter. As the second half of the year enters the industrial peak season, the operating performance is likely to be better than the first half.

Industry insiders estimate that Yaguang has recently launched a full-blown hybrid lens with glass and plastic lenses. However, since the industry still maintains a relatively conservative attitude, it is still uncertain when it can actually contribute to revenue.
