The team of Wang Qiuliang from the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully developed a fully superconducting magnet with a central magnetic field of up to 32.35 Tesla (T). The magnet adopts the self-developed high-temperature interpolated magnet technology, breaking the world record of 32.0 Tesla superconducting magnets created by the National Strong Magnetic Field Laboratory in December 2017, marking the high-field interpolating magnet technology in China reach the global leading level.
