Chinese special alloy powder manufacturer PREP method successfully prepared GH99 super alloy powder Hay:A05ZJYT

Superalloy powder GH99 alloy is an age-hardened nickel-based deformed superalloy. It is based on Ni, Cr, solid solution strengthening with W, Mo, Co, aging strengthening with Al, Ti, and grain boundary strengthening with B, Ce, and Mg. It can be used for a long time below 900 ℃. The alloy is mainly used for the combustion chamber, baffle, stiffeners and aircraft fixing parts of aero engine whose temperature does not exceed 1000 ℃.

The morphology of GH99 alloy powder produced by ZJYT is shown in Figure 1. It has excellent sphericity, no satellite balls and hollow powder.

The performance of GH99 powder is measured. The particle size of the powder is mainly distributed between 100-325 mesh, the oxygen content of 53-106μm powder is 69ppm, the flow velocity of 2.5mm pore diameter is ≤14s / 50g, and the bulk density of 15-53μm powder is 5.1g / cm3 , 2.5mm aperture Hall flow rate ≤ 14s / 50g. It is very suitable for industrial applications of additive manufacturing such as SLM, EBSM, LMD, HIP, powder metallurgy, thermal spraying, and laser repair.
