Chinese yaw pitch bearing manufacturer successfully developed single-row tapered spindle bearing for 4.XMW wind turbine Hay:U03DLWF

A few days ago, China's super-large bearing manufacturer: DLWF Bearing Technology Group successfully completed the development of single-row tapered spindle bearings for wind turbines on the 4.XMW platform. The typical samples of spindle bearings of two specifications were successfully produced and passed the acceptance of well-known enterprises in the wind power industry in China, marking a restriction on China The single-row tapered spindle bearings developed by large-megawatt wind turbines began to realize localization.

As the key core component of wind turbines, the single-row tapered spindle bearings of high-power wind turbines in China currently rely entirely on imports, which has become a bottleneck restricting the development of large megawatt wind turbines. According to relevant engineers and technicians of DLWF Wind Power Bearing Research Institute, single-row tapered bearings have large carrying capacity and are the preferred structure for large-megawatt wind turbine main shaft bearings. However, due to their large size and high precision requirements, there is no manufacturer in China that can produce them, so they have always relied on imports. Prices are also high. In the development process, DLWF has continuously optimized the design plan, improved bearing reliability, and improved bearing accuracy. It has overcome many technical problems such as bearing cage design, temperature field analysis, and heat treatment processing to ensure that the product meets the requirements of use.

Through this project, DLWF completed the installation of typical prototypes of large-megawatt monolithic single-row tapered spindle bearings, exported key technical achievements, filled the gap in China, and provided high-quality cost solutions for the development of China's wind power industry.
