Kordsa expands its strong position in materials
Kordsa signed an agreement with Axiom Materials Corporation (Axiom) to acquire a 96% stake in the latter for a total value of $ 181 million. Axiom Materials provides advanced composite materials primarily for aerospace and industrial applications, but final acquisitions require final government approval.
Through this acquisition, Kordsa hopes to lead the advanced composite materials technology applied in the next generation of industrial and transportation fields and aerospace fields. With its strategic investment and technological advantages that can change the rules of the game, Kordsa is gradually expanding its strong position in the materials field. In 2018, Kordsa strengthened its dominant position in the aerospace industry by acquiring fabric development companies, fabric product companies and advanced honeycomb technology companies.
