The company will build a new high-performance ceramic matrix composite production base, and the completion of the project will greatly enhance the intelligent manufacturing level of China’s ceramic matrix composite industry.
Ceramic matrix composites are a new type of composite material with high temperature resistance, long life, and oxidation resistance. Currently, they have been used in seven major industrial fields, including aviation engines, aerospace engines, aircraft thermal protection structures, space lightweight structures, brake brakes, nuclear energy, and photovoltaic electronics.
The intelligent manufacturing park for ceramic matrix composite materials, which started construction on the same day, is the first intelligent manufacturing park for ceramic matrix composite materials in China. The project plans to invest a total of 2 billion yuan in the construction of industrial production bases for special components for aerospace, carbon ceramic brake discs, photovoltaic special components, etc.
XAXY’s ceramic matrix composite project began engineering research in 2006 and achieved commercial production in 2018.
Relying on the Ceramic Matrix Composites Engineering Center of XB University of Technology, the company aims to promote the industrialization of the first prize project of national technological invention “High temperature resistant, long-life and anti-oxidation ceramic matrix composites and its application technology” hosted by Zhang Litong, academician of the CAE Member. Currently, the company has developed and produced over 20000 special components of over 100 categories in seven major industrial fields, including aviation engines, aerospace engines, and lightweight structures in space, which strongly supports the upgrading of new generation equipment.
