Danish high-end bicycle manufacturer Biomega and its first carbon fiber composite electric vehicle SIN debut at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai

Danish high-end bicycle manufacturer Biomega and its first electric vehicle, SIN, debut at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.

The electric vehicle has been unveiled in Singapore. The SIN model is equipped with a 20kWh battery system and has a range of 160 kilometers. The battery system consists of a 14kWh built-in battery and a 6kWh removable battery.

The Biomega team said that this model eliminates unnecessary appearance design, and the design focus is on low cost, comfort and sustainability.

The design of this electric vehicle is different, without the hood, trunk, wheel hub and bumper of the traditional electric vehicle. The characteristic design of this model is: windshield (extending from the front to the rear), the driver's footwell, and the use of two cameras instead of side mirrors.

It sounds a bit like vehicle design in science fiction. At present, a trend has been formed in the industry to grasp the imagination of the new generation of drivers and provide desirable product designs.

SIN is Biomega's first four-wheeled vehicle, made by Argentine designer Guillermo Calla. This electric concept car is designed for urban travel. Its narrow body design can save more road space, but it can still accommodate four people.

This model uses a lightweight carbon fiber body and weighs less than 800 kg. The SIN concept model will be mass-produced between 2021 and 2023. No specific timetable has been announced.
