AR display developer Dispelix recently announced that it has reached a cooperation with Hoya Co., Ltd., a high-performance glass chip manufacturer. The two parties will jointly ensure the world's highest quality waveguide display for the AR&MR industry.
The team will combine Dispelix's waveguide display design capabilities with Hoya's expertise in optical glass and lens technology. Among them, Hoya will provide high refractive index glass wafers for Dispelix's single-layer and multi-layer diffractive AR waveguides for large-scale manufacturing.
