GEO-cab uses carbon fiber materials to convert SUVs or trucks directly into camping vehicles

Recently, GEO-cab company provides a Badger camper. For outdoor enthusiasts, this is undoubtedly good news. This camper is light and strong due to the extensive use of carbon fiber materials. It can be directly installed on original vehicles such as small trucks or SUVs such as Ford Bronco or Jeep Gladiator.

In addition, the company can provide users with customized solutions. Campers can not only be installed on small trucks or SUVs. On the other hand, the company provides alternative F series for large campers. These campers can be installed in such as Ram Or Chevrolet Silverado and other full-size trucks.

GEO-cab is the partner of GEHO cab GmbH in North America. GEHO cab has achieved great success on Volkswagen Amarok's Kora monocoque carbon fiber cab, which is designed to deal with the extreme elements of off-road environments. Badger's design draws on the knowledge learned from KORA and applies it to a wider range of source cars.

Badger has a complete carbon fiber structure shell, which is designed with a honeycomb structure of carbon fiber, and the inner carbon fiber layer further strengthens the camper. The cockpit shell is manufactured by GEO-cab's German aviation partners INVENT and OFFROAD-MANUFAKTUR, and will be manufactured by factories in Germany and the United States.

If GEHO-Cab's first modification of Volkswagen Amarok called Kora is a small test, this time for the North American market, GEO-Cab can be a brand new upgrade, because it can cover the same impressive range of vehicles. . The next evolutionary stage of GEHO Kora is named Badger ST, LT, LR and Badger XT. These four conversions can be based on Wrangler, Bronco, Benz G-Class, F150-F550, Ford, Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500-3500.

Among the options available, the lightest Badger option is the ST, which weighs only 1,014 pounds, measures between 155 and 167 inches in length and 70-76 inches in width. The layout of the car can accommodate sleeping accommodation for two people, although the size is small, but the car can provide a variable size bathroom.

The size in the center is the Badger LR, which can extend to 190.9 inches in length, while the width is slightly lower at 76.8 inches. The top-of-the-line Badger XT option is the largest of its kind. It is designed for large vehicles such as the Ford F150 – F550 or Chevy Silverado 2500 – 3500 weighing 1,653 pounds. The XT is between 206 and 236 inches in length and wide Between 84 and 92 inches, it can sleep five people.

Due to the extensive use of carbon fiber in the internal and external structure of the camper, Badger vehicles do not increase the weight of the modified car significantly, ranging from 1,014 pounds for Badger ST to 1,653 pounds for Badger XT. In addition, Badger also has a unique glass fiber furniture design, in which the components are actually laminated into the camper. If necessary, carbon fiber can be used instead of glass fiber.

The campers are customized by the GEO-cab team in close cooperation with customers. The price starts at approximately US$130,000 and production is scheduled to start in August 2021.
