German chemical distributor Gustav Grolman will expand sales of curing agent products for epoxy resin processing under BASF's Baxxodur brand, and its distribution agreement will extend to Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Since 2015, the two companies have collaborated exclusively on the marketing of BASF's Baxxodur brand in Europe. The original distribution scope of the agreement includes France, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
The private company Grolman sees itself as one of Europe's largest specialty chemical distributors and has a diverse knowledge of application technology. The company said that expanding its extensive regional cooperation relationship with BASF will further strengthen its competitive position.
Grolman said that curing agent components in epoxy resin applications, such as thermoset laminates, highly corrosion-resistant floor coatings, anti-corrosive varnishes, and composites, complement Grolman's resins, accelerators, additives, flame retardants, Product portfolio for coatings and special fillers.
