German Textile reinforced composite material made of glass, carbon and aramid fiber manufacturer SAERTEX and Safran signed a cooperation agreement for carbon fiber fabrics for aircraft

SAERTEX and Safran signed a ten-year cooperation contract to produce aircraft equipment made of carbon fiber fabric.

According to the contract, Safran will provide a multi-axial carbon fiber fabric, which can be used to produce cabins and use injection technology to manufacture engine cabins for various aircraft.

The contract agreement implies the cooperation of two global operating companies: Safran is an international high-tech group whose business involves the aviation (propulsion, equipment and interiors), defense and space markets. SAERTEX is one of the world's leading manufacturers of textile reinforcements made of glass, carbon and aramid fibers, and has obtained DIN EN 9100 certification since 1997.

The vice president of material procurement of Safran Group told reporters: "We are very happy to establish a new partnership with SAERTEX."

SAERTEX CEO also commented to reporters: "We are also very happy that with Safran, we will have better and more advanced composite materials technology in the aerospace field."
