Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) was founded in 1969, formerly Diversified Mortgage Investors, Inc., was renamed in 1984 and is headquartered in Washington, DC.
Danaher Group's subsidiaries include Fluke, Fluke Networks, Hach, and Raytheon (China).
Fluke entered China in 1978. A repair station was established in Beijing and an office was subsequently established. Fluke is one of the earliest foreign electronics companies to establish an office in China. Fluke currently has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi'an, and liaison offices in Shenyang, Dalian, Wuhan, Nanjing, Jinan, Urumqi, Chongqing, and Shenzhen.
