The integrated refining and chemical project will include a two-vehicle LD Parex ™ unit, including UOP Sulfolane ™, Isomar ™, and Tatoray ™ process production units, which will produce 4 million tons of paraxylene per year. Paraxylene is the main component of plastics.
The new plant will build a RFCC catalytic cracking unit that uses the UOP RCD Unionfining ™ and RFCC ™ processes to convert 5 million tons of residual oil into high-value fuels each year.
In addition, the project will build an Oleflex ™ propane dehydrogenation unit capable of producing 600,000 tons of polymer-grade propylene per year, which is another basic raw material for the production of plastic, synthetic rubber and gasoline additives.
The project will also include a UOP Unicracking ™ hydrocracking unit that converts vacuum diesel into petrochemical feedstock, two CCR Platforming reforming units for aromatics and mixed high-octane fuels, and a Unionfining stone for desulfurization. Naphtha hydrotreating unit.
