At the same time, sales for the quarter increased by 4% to 342.9 billion yen, and operating income tripled to 8.3 billion yen. In addition, the performance forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2022 remains unchanged, with a year-on-year decrease of 1% to 1,450 billion yen, and net profit will decrease by 62% to 31 billion yen.
In addition to printing, Toppan Printing is also engaged in precision industries such as LCD color filters and semiconductor photomask manufacturing. Data shows that Toppan Printing is the world's largest mask manufacturer with a market share of more than 30%.
