In 2021, Hubble, a subsidiary of Huawei, has invested in two semiconductor material technology companies, namely YNXY Semiconductor Material Technology Company and SZJY Advanced Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Among them, YNXY is mainly engaged in the R&D and production of semiconductor materials gallium arsenide and indium phosphide substrates (single wafer). YNXY is a well-known III-V semiconductor substrate manufacturer in China and even internationally. At present, a single crystal material production line with an annual output of 300,000 4-inch (or 120,000 6-inch) gallium arsenide polished wafers and a production line with an annual output of 50,000 indium phosphide substrates have been built.
