Global dibasic acid glycol copolyester [PBAT, PBS, polysuccinic acid-butylene adipate (PBSA)]

The global production capacity of dibasic acid glycol copolyester [PBAT, PBS, polybutylene adipate (PBSA)] has exceeded 400 kt/year, and China’s production capacity has exceeded 200 kt/year. Although PBS and PBSA were developed earlier, but due to their own performance limitations, the market consumption is not as good as PBAT. At present, the global production of dibasic acid glycol copolyesters is mainly based on PBAT. Because of its high toughness, PBAT is used in large quantities in the production of various film products.
