Huntsman will showcase its evolving composites and polyurethane resins, adhesives and solutions for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications at JEC World 2019 in Paris from March 12th to 14th.
From concept and design to maintenance and repair, Huntsman will demonstrate how its latest innovations meet the needs of current and emerging customers. New products introduced at this year's show include new adhesives and sealants, as well as continuous advancements in industry-leading lightweight solutions.
The company will highlight its expertise in high-performance Araldite composite solutions for structural and unstructured automotive applications. The finished components on display will include all-carbon composite wheels, composite steel leaf springs, type 4 pressure vessels and fully composite door frames provided by the world's leading automotive OEMs. "Our expertise in composites technology gives today's automotive OEMs and manufacturers the capabilities they need for future automotive manufacturing," said Nastassja Kelley, global strategic marketing director for transportation and industry.
In addition to the Araldite product portfolio, Huntsman will also showcase interior components, including load-bearing floors produced using the Rimline HC polyurethane resin system, for paper honeycomb and fiberglass-reinforced surface layers for flexible design, unique high stiffness and ultra-lightweight properties . Huntsman's Vitrox series of polyurethane resins will also be showcased through lighter, more durable and more impact resistant components.
