Italian 3D printing material maker CRP Technology introduces its high-speed sintering (HSS) Windform material The first high-speed sintering (HSS) material in the P-LINE series

Italian 3D printing material maker CRP Technology has launched its first high-speed sintering (HSS) material for its high-speed sintering (HSS) Windform material P-LINE series. It is reported that the manufacturer has integrated a new 3D printing process internally, using Windform P-LINE materials and HSS technology to make small 3D printed production components.

CRP was established in 1970 and is an expert in mechanical engineering. The CRP Group includes CRP Technology, CRP USA, CRP Meccanica and Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica. CRP Technolog is the group's additive manufacturing division, known for its 3D printing material Windform.

In addition to manufacturing materials, CRP also has a dedicated rapid prototyping department with 25 industrial 3D printers from 3D Systems and Ricoh.

Windform's Top-Line series has been used in a variety of terminal and prototype applications in the aerospace and automotive industries. Four of them, Windform LX 2.0, Windform XT 2.0, Windform GT and Windform SP, have passed NASA's outgassing tests.

P-Line was developed to bring 3D printed parts to market. Windform P1 material is non-conductive, has strong mechanical properties and high flexibility. It is also an isotropic material and is powder compatible with the HSS 3D printing used by De Voxeljet and British Xaar.

In addition to 3D printing, Windform materials can also be CNC machined after printing to achieve higher accuracy.
