GAF Corporation, a company of the Standard Industries Group of Companies and North America's largest manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing materials, announced the reactivation of its Shaft, California facility following a multi-million-dollar upgrade to its old plant Fiberglass felt factory. The plant produces fiberglass felt, which is a key substrate for roofing tiles. GAF also produces roofing tiles at its factory in Shaft.
