The pre-show press conference of the 019 Dusseldorf International Plastics and Rubber Fair (K Show) was held in Antwerp, Belgium last week. Ascend's new products include long-term high-temperature and chemical-resistant long-chain PAs, antibacterial PA66 resins for fiber production processes, expanded environmentally-friendly recycled product portfolio, and new flame-retardant Vydyne PA66 .
At the press conference, Mr. Scott Rook, Senior Vice President of Global Business of Ascend, also discussed Ascend's capacity expansion plan.

"Recently, Ascend announced that its production base in Decatur, Alabama, USA has added 90,000 tons of adiponitrile capacity.
Ascend will continue to expand its global business, continuously improve technical service levels in Europe and Asia, and work with customers in these regions to develop various solutions. Ascend acquired a modified material manufacturer in Tilburg, the Netherlands last year, which is the first production base operated by Ascend outside the United States.
