NJYH announced on the same day that Baotou YH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, plans to invest in a 300,000 t / y ferrosilicon alloy project with a total investment of 800 million yuan. After the project is put into production, it is expected to realize an annual net profit of 130 million yuan and an investment payback period of 6.13 years (including the construction period). Ferrosilicon is a raw material for the production of raw magnesium.
The cost of ferrosilicon accounts for a large proportion of the production cost of raw magnesium. In order to ensure the supply of ferrosilicon produced by existing raw magnesium, and at the same time consider the growing demand for ferrosilicon in the next few years, Metal plans to invest in the project. After the project reaches full capacity, it will realize self-sufficiency of ferrosilicon, control the production cost of raw magnesium, and increase comprehensive competitiveness.
