The National Standardization Technical Committee for the Comprehensive Utilization of Vanadium-Titanium Magnetite was set up in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province on the 29th. According to reports, the newly established “Standard Committee” will start from the mining and dressing of vanadium-titanium magnetite, vanadium-titanium extraction and deep processing, environmental protection and clean production, and high-end applications of vanadium-titanium. Evaluation and detection methods in three dimensions, constructing a standard system framework for comprehensive utilization of vanadium-titanium magnetite, improving resource utilization efficiency, enhancing resource utilization value, achieving clean production and green manufacturing, providing important information for the development of the vanadium-titanium industry and the national vanadium-titanium industry Technical support, leading the industry to coordinate, orderly, healthy and sustainable development.

According to resource potential evaluation data, the prospective reserves of vanadium-titanium magnetite in Panzhihua City exceed 20 billion tons, with a potential value of more than 10 trillion US dollars. The world has built the world's first vanadium product production base and the nation's largest titanium concentrate production base. The vanadium-containing 100-meter rails are the only top-level rails in China that have obtained the “National Export Exemption” certificate, helping China's high-speed rail to run at a faster speed than the world.
