On April 25, 2019, Sanan Optoelectronics announced that it would invest 12 billion yuan to invest in III-V compound semiconductor projects within the jurisdiction of the Management Committee of Gedian Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hubei Province. On July 29, San'an Gedian Mini / MicroLED display chip industrialization project officially started.
