Medtronic brought the second-generation Micra leadless pacemaker at the third CIIE. While maintaining the same volume as the first-generation product, the patient application rate rose to 70%. It is only the size of a capsule, 93% smaller than a traditional pacemaker, and weighs only 2 grams.
It can be implanted into the heart through a minimally invasive method. The design without wires and pockets reduces the risk of complications. It is compatible with whole-body MRI scans so that patients after implantation have more options for diagnosis and treatment.
