Microfiberglass filter paper supplier Hay:F07CQZS

On August 26, in the tidy digital workshop, pieces of glass fiber cotton were automatically fed into the feeding port. After beating, evacuation, forming, and drying, rolls of high-performance glass fiber filter paper were rolled off the line.

“Don’t underestimate this thin cellophane. Through our technical treatment, it can be used in household purifiers and nuclear power plant filters.” said Guo Mao, chairman of CQZS Advanced Materials Technology Group. Since the resumption of work, The company’s monthly output of filter paper has reached 1,000 tons, and it has been maintained at full production and sales; meltblown cloth is also in short supply, and orders have been scheduled to October.

Affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, some manufacturing companies are facing the pressure of slowing demand and declining production and sales. However, as a new material company, Zaisheng Technology has been on the rise. In the first half of the year, it achieved operating income of 856 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.04%, and net profit of 222 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 125.37%.

Some people in the industry say that CQZS is lucky, and it happens to catch up with the needs of epidemic prevention and control. But in Guo Mao’s view, there is no unprovoked luck, only prepared opportunities. “The company’s compound growth rate of output value in the past five years is about 50%, and it’s impossible to rely on’coincidence’ alone. ‘It means to persevere in an’industrial ecology’ and unremittingly engage in technological innovation.”

In fact, CQZS, which started with the production of glass fiber raw materials, was already a leading enterprise in the field of ultrafine glass fiber cotton in China 10 years ago. However, Guo Mao knows that only raw materials are produced, and the company is not big enough, let alone go far. After extensive research, he determined that “clean air” and “high efficiency and energy saving” are urgently needed by the society and people’s livelihood, as well as a broad “blue ocean” market.

The industrial chain extends vertically, from glass fiber cotton to filter paper, to purification equipment and purification engineering solutions; horizontal integration, adding low-resistance melt-blown filter materials, high-efficiency PTFE membranes, and energy-saving core materials.

CQZS’s R&D expenditure accounted for a long-term percentage of operating income at about 6%. It has successively owned Fiber Research and Design Institute, Paper Industry Research and Design Institute, and established a “National Enterprise Technology Center.”

Walking into the CQZS new product experience hall, you can find everything from a piece of high-performance filter paper, refrigerator insulation core material, to aviation sound insulation blankets, and customized air purification units.

“After the African swine fever epidemic, in response to the disease prevention needs of animal husbandry, we quickly developed a special filter material with high efficiency, low resistance, high temperature and humidity resistance, suitable for the fresh air system of the pig house. At present, the product has been put into use in the Muyuan Group. In the first half of the year, this sector alone added 124 million yuan in sales revenue.” Guo Mao introduced.

In mid-June, a tender notice from Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant made the management of CQZS excited. “The amount is not large, only 598,000 yuan, but the ability to participate in the research project of localization of nuclear-grade high-efficiency filter paper once again proves the recognition of the high-end market.” Guo Mao said.

Including nuclear-grade filter materials, in recent years, CQZS has focused on the technology of ultra-high-grade clean room filter materials in the industrial field. “The limit requirement is that there are no more than 10 particles above 0.1 micron per cubic meter of space.” At present, its related products have been successfully applied to domestic well-known panel and semiconductor companies such as BOE and Huaxing Optoelectronics.

Riding on the good momentum, CQZS’s pace of climbing to the peak of the industry has accelerated again. “This year, we built a professional acoustic laboratory to accelerate the in-depth research and development of aviation-grade sound insulation materials. At the same time, we are further improving the technical indicators and quality of high-performance air filter materials, and strive to break the monopoly of foreign technology in more application fields.” Guo Mao said.
