Nano Dimension announces sale of two circuit 3D printers to U.S. military

Nano Dimension, the world's leading supplier of additive electronics, recently announced the sale of two DragonFly Pro 3D printers to different services of the U.S. Army. Nano Dimension has held commercial and government agency codes of the US Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency since June 2018 ( CAGE). Nano Dimension completed the two defense sector transactions in just a few weeks after obtaining US Government-approved supplier status. The transactions were completed by the company's two leading value-added distributors in the United States, TriMech Solutions and Fathom, two distributors. One system was sold to each service of the U.S. military.

"Nano Dimension continues to strengthen its position in the U.S. market, especially in the U.S. defense sector. These two product sales to Tier 1 customers demonstrate the appeal of our additive manufacturing solutions. Our ability to enable customers to quickly and confidentially prototype functional circuits internally is a key factor in our adoption of our solution by the multi-billion dollar U.S. Department of Defense. Nano Dimension's DragonFly Pro 3D printer allows customers to use additive manufacturing Flexibility Print new designs and improve workflows in 3D. Bypassing traditional manufacturing processes, the defense sector is actively promoting additive manufacturing in this area. "

The defense sector is a key market for additive manufacturing technologies that can both improve supply chain efficiency and drive product innovation. As a registered and approved supplier, Nano Dimension is committed to doing business directly with the U.S. federal government and its many agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense.

The DragonFly Pro 3D printer has transformed electronics development, allowing the company to revolutionize its development process and products. High-resolution systems allow designers and engineers to print 3D metals and polymers simultaneously. This technology enables in-house or prototype manufacturing of functional electronics such as sensors, antennas, molded interconnects, printed circuit boards, and other innovative circuits, while ensuring intellectual property security.
