Recently, Veeco announced that Osram Opto Semiconductors has passed its Lumina MOCVD system certification and will use this system to produce high-end LED products to help the development of next-generation advanced photonic devices.
Lothar Mergili, chief operating officer of Osram Opto Semiconductors, said that the core of Osram's development is to maintain a leading position in the next-generation advanced photonics technology that requires innovation and redefining technological constraints.
Mergili pointed out that the facts have proved that the Lumina MOCVD system has set new standards in terms of productivity and can meet or exceed market requirements. Veeco's advanced MOCVD technology plays an important role for Osram, and it will be the same in the future.
