Polymaker, a 3D printing material manufacturer, released a new 3D printing pellet product line PolyCore series at TCT Asia

Polymaker, a major manufacturer of 3D printing materials, announced the official release of a new 3D printing pellet product line, the PolyCore series, at the TCT Asia exhibition.

In recent years, the super-large 3D printing technology promoted by the US Oak Grove National Laboratory has developed rapidly. When manufacturing large components, it has outstanding advantages in terms of cost, efficiency and craftsmanship, and has broad prospects on the application side.

The super-size 3D printing technology has the following three main characteristics:

1. Use screw-based extrusion system

2. The material is in the form of particles

3. The size of the printout is generally greater than or equal to 1 cubic meter

This technology can manufacture large components efficiently and at low cost. Its high efficiency is mainly reflected in the printing speed. Using a screw extrusion system, the printing speed is generally between 10 and 250 kg/h, which is a hundred times or even more than a thousand times the speed of general wire 3D printing. The cost advantage is comprehensively reflected in factors such as low material prices, low energy consumption, and labor savings.

PolyCore is a new polymer material series specially developed for super-size melt-extrusion 3D printing. The development of this series of 3D printing pellets takes into account printability, functionality and applicability.
