PowerCell Sweden AB, a Swedish fuel cell system technology company, receives an order from Inabata from Japan

The Swedish PowerCell company has received orders for two feasibility studies, which will provide two Japanese off-road vehicle manufacturers with specifications based on fuel cell solutions.

The company said on November 30 that it has received an order from its Japanese distributor Inabata to develop a draft specification for the development of fuel cell solutions in the field of off-road vehicles.

"Japan occupies an important position in the field of off-road vehicles, and Japan also has a number of leading manufacturers. This order will be an important breakthrough. It will not only confirm our position in the global market, but also consolidate our potential in the Japanese market. Said Andreas Bodén, Director of Marketing and Sales at PowerCell Sweden AB.

PowerCell's fuel cell system closely combines high-power power output with strong power and short response time. This combination of advantages will provide a truly attractive zero-emission solution for demanding customers in the off-road field.

The fuel cell solution will be configured as a module-based system with power output ranging from 30 kW to megawatts (1000 kW or higher).

The study is expected to be conducted in the last quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. The total order amount is negligible.
