Japan's Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sekisui Chemical") recently announced that its joint venture, Sekisui DLJM Injection Molding Private Limited (SEKISUI DLJM MOLDING PRIVATE LIMITED), will build a fourth in Mandal, India Factories to produce and sell automotive interior and exterior parts.
It is reported that the new factory covers an area of about 33,820 square meters, with an investment of more than 900 million yen (equivalent to about RMB 61,066,000), and is expected to start production in April 2020.
Sekisui Chemical's high-performance plastics company has always focused on injection molding in the automotive and transportation sectors. Sekisui DLJM Injection Molding Pte Ltd is a joint venture established by Sekisui Chemical and an Indian company Dipty Lal Judge Mal Private Limited in August 2011.
Since its establishment, Sekisui DLJM Injection Molding Pte Ltd has been following the development of the Indian automotive market and continuously expanding its business. The investment in the fourth new plant is expected to increase India's local capacity by 20%.
