Solvay will introduce two UV stabilizers to the Brazilian market at the Feiplastic exhibition: CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® M528 for injection and blow molding applications and CYASORB CYXTRA® V9900 for automotive interior and exterior parts.
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS®M528 is designed for general purpose injection molded and blown polyethylene products to meet the key performance requirements of durable products. This powerful stabilizer provides long-term UV protection and heat resistance. It can be used at lower loads than traditional stabilizer chemicals and various types of polymers, giving its users more formulation flexibility and productivity, and maximizing value.
Solvay will also introduce CYASORB® CYXTRA® V9900 to the Brazilian market. This product is the first in Solvay's next-generation UV stabilization technology platform, which achieves the best balance between processing and cost efficiency and provides good durability for polyolefins. CYASORB® CYXTRA® V9900 stabilizer enables polyolefins and reinforced plastics to meet government requirements to improve fuel economy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. It meets the UV weathering regulations of all cars worldwide and exceeds key automotive requirements such as low VOC emissions, low fogging, low odor and no interference with paint adhesion.
