The Leading High Pressure Hydrogen Cylinder Valve Supplier Hay:U05SZQP

At present, core components such as stacks, membrane electrodes, and bipolar plates have been domestically produced throughout the entire hydrogen energy industry chain, but there are still "some technical bottlenecks" that need to be overcome for valves used in high-pressure hydrogen cylinders.

SZQP Fluid System Equipment Technology Corporation is committed to the research, development, and production of core components and systems for valves used in high-pressure hydrogen cylinders.

The core technical team of the company originates from the Chinese aerospace field and has over 30 years of technological innovation and accumulation in the research and application of hydrogen energy systems.

SZQP is the first company in China to develop valves for 35MPa high-pressure hydrogen cylinders and obtain type test certification. Currently, it is overcoming the technical difficulties of 70MPa hydrogen cylinder valves and will expand the integration of hydrogen supply systems in the future;

In the commercial aerospace field, SZQP's products include valves, tanks, engines, rocket attitude control power systems, ground equipment, etc.

There are three main application scenarios for hydrogen energy system valves: onboard hydrogen storage and supply systems, fuel cell power systems, and hydrogen storage and transportation systems. The requirements for valves vary in different scenarios.

In the field of on-board hydrogen supply systems, the proportion of hydrogen energy valves produced in China is around 20% -30%, and the overall market is mainly occupied by companies such as GFI from Canada, OMB from Italy, and Yongdo from South Korea;

In the field of fuel cell systems, the proportion of hydrogen energy valves produced in China is around 10% -20%. Some top fuel cell manufacturers have already used domestic products in bulk, but the vast majority of small and medium-sized fuel cell manufacturers still rely mainly on imports;

In the field of hydrogen refueling stations, domestic hydrogen valves account for less than 3%, while foreign suppliers include MAXIMOTOR, Swagelok, and others.

The main reason for the difference in market share of foreign products is the time difference in the development of the hydrogen energy industry both domestically and internationally. Foreign enterprises advanced in basic research, took the lead in developing high-pressure hydrogen energy valves, and gradually optimized and improved product quality in constant trial and error, thus gaining more customer recognition. Under this positive feedback, Chinese start-ups are difficult to enter the market.

Reduce the cost of hydrogen valves by over 30%

In the field of hydrogen energy, SZQP mainly develops core components and systems for high-pressure hydrogen system valves, and has been the first to obtain type test certification for 35MPa hydrogen cylinder valves in China. Currently, there are no more than 5 enterprises in the industry in China that have obtained this certification.

At present, the price of the 35MPa high-pressure hydrogen cylinder valve developed by SZQP has dropped to about 60% of that of similar foreign products. Apart from design factors, this is mainly due to the relatively complete supporting facilities of China's industrial chain, such as temperature sensors, nuts, pressure valves, and other components, which are cheaper than foreign ones.

At present, in addition to seizing market share of 35MPa hydrogen cylinder valves, SZQP is also committed to the research and development of 70MPa hydrogen cylinder valves.

Nowadays, most of the 70MPa hydrogen cylinder valves required in China rely on imports, and many domestic manufacturers have claimed to be developing this product, but none of them have obtained national standard certification.

At present, the 70MPa hydrogen cylinder valve developed by SZQP has completed the pressure resistance assessment of TPRD, the service life assessment of globe valves, the service life assessment of one-way valves, the structural design of solenoid valves, and the pressure resistance assessment of temperature sensors.

In addition, SZQP's products in the hydrogen energy direction also include: forklift pressure reducing valves, unmanned aerial vehicle bottle mouth valves, metal hydrogen storage bottle mouth valves, metal hydrogen storage pressure reducing valves, equipment high-pressure bottle mouth valves, light and small hydrogen energy storage systems, etc.
