Dr. Xu, is the company's CTO and chief scientist, director of the Institute of Maglev Application Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, doctoral tutor.

From 1998 to 1999, he worked and visited the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (SWISS FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY), and from 2006 to 2007, he visited the British Imperial College (IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON). The research results on "Magnetic Suspension Bearings" he presided over have won 2 provincial and ministerial first prizes, more than 20 authorized invention patents, 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, and more than 100 academic papers.
