The company's new 20,000 square meters ALK, PEM PTFE sealing gasket and plastic pole frame production line has achieved industrial production.

"Green hydrogen" produced by electrolysis of water is considered as the final direction of hydrogen production, but at present, the cost of green hydrogen is far higher than that of fossil fuel hydrogen production, and the application scenario is difficult to cultivate, making the market demand slow to open. Therefore, reducing the cost of hydrogen production is the prerequisite for the large-scale and market-oriented development of green hydrogen industry.

At present, the two mature green hydrogen production technologies are alkaline water electrolysis (ALK) and proton exchange membrane water electrolysis (PEM), and their pain points are mainly reflected in the high cost of electricity and expensive equipment.

The completion and operation of the production line of ZJFD will further reduce the cost and transportation cost of the electrolytic cell and further reduce the price of green hydrogen.

Compared with the metal electrode frame, the fluoroplastic electrode frame can reduce the weight of the electrolytic cell by more than 60% and the cost by 30%. The design capacity of the project can meet the demand of 5GW electrolytic cell sealing products, and the annual production of sealing gasket is 300,000 pieces.

At present, the company occupies 90% of the PEM seal market and 80% of the alkaline seal market. After mass production, there is still much room for cost reduction.
