China's Shenzhou spacecraft uses honeycomb-reinforced low-density materials. At very high speeds, the surface temperature of the spacecraft is very high, and the atmosphere and the surface of the spacecraft will produce very strong friction.

The intense friction makes the surface temperature of the spacecraft reach more than 2000 degrees, and the entire loading process takes 530 seconds. However, there are astronauts in the Shenzhou spacecraft, and the temperature inside cannot exceed 30 degrees. This requires an efficient thermal protection material, which is this material.
