On November 11, the photoelectric detector special chip factory built by SHLH Microelectronics Technology Group, a high-end infrared detector chip technology company in China, has officially put into production and operation.
As a rare team in China that masters the core technology of high-end infrared detector chips, SHLH has achieved domestic substitution in important core areas of the country.
In 2019, SHLH "photodetector special chip manufacturing project" officially started construction. The project plans to invest 350 million yuan in the first phase of the project to build a production line for photoelectric detector special chip manufacturing, forming a complete industrial chain integrating R&D, design, production, packaging, testing and application of refrigerated infrared detectors, and is compatible with lidar detector chips. R&D and production.
SHLH was jointly initiated and established by the returnees technical team and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since its establishment, the company has undertaken a number of government and research institute projects, including the National 02 Major Project, the Important Direction Project of the Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Scientific Research Project.
In 2010, SHLH developed the first infrared detector chip for the Chinese listed company GDHW Infrared Thermal Imaging Technology Group. In 2012, it also built China's first infrared detector chip production line for GDHW.
