Toray announced in August last year that the company will invest 200 billion won in South Korea within three years to triple the capacity of battery separators, and the project is part of it. In addition, Toray has denied that the insulation materials produced this time will be exclusively supplied to South Korean lithium battery manufacturers such as Samsung SDI and LG Chem.
