Apple has released a supply chain list for the fiscal year 2023 on its official website, which includes 98% of Apple’s direct expenses in global product materials, manufacturing, and assembly for the fiscal year 2023.
In this list, 8 enterprises in Chinese Mainland were added and 4 enterprises in Chinese Mainland were eliminated.
The 8 new enterprises in Chinese Mainland include:
Baoji Titanium Industry, Jiuquan Iron&Steel (Group), Jones Tech PLC, Painting Technology Company, San’an Optoelectronics, Shenzhen BSC technology, Zhejiang Tony Electronics, Zheng Group.
The 4 enterprises in Chinese Mainland excluded are:
Jiangsu Gian Technology, MYS Group Company, Shenzhen Deren Electronic, Winox Holdings Limited
Apple plans to achieve carbon neutrality for all of its products by 2030. Apple is promoting hundreds of carbon reduction related projects in the areas of raw materials, production, and transportation. The vast majority of Apple’s supply chain companies have committed to achieving carbon neutrality in all Apple related production by 2030, and Apple has made a special mark on this list.
Only four companies have not committed to achieving carbon neutrality, namely Intel Corporation, Qualcomm Incorporated, MicroChip Technology Incorporated, and Synaptics Incorporated.
