BASF’s innovative material solution Ultramid® polyamide material and simulation tools help create award-winning office chairs that are lighter and more durable

Haworth, the world's leading furniture design company, has joined hands with BASF to launch an upgraded version of its iconic office chair "Zody". The new Zody uses BASF's Ultramid® innovative polyamide material and uses BASF's special simulation tool Ultrasim® to optimize the design, making this award-winning office chair lighter and more durable.

James Chorlton, Haworth Asia Pacific Operations Director, said: “Haworth is committed to creating high-quality furniture. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to cooperate with BASF to make this iconic office chair more user-friendly. We will use this successful cooperation As a foundation, continue to cooperate with BASF to try to integrate technology, innovation and design into our products."
