On the morning of October 28, the unveiling of the aluminum air power industry park in Sichuan Province and the aluminum fuel UPS off-line ceremony were held in Deyang Dongshen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which marked that the development of aluminum air power industry in Deyang ushered in the era of "full industrial chain" "Deyang made" aluminum-air metal fuel UPS is the first to achieve industrialization in the world.
It is understood that, as a new type of energy, aluminum-air metal fuel power generation consumes aluminum alloy anode, water in the electrolyte and oxygen in the air to output electrical energy. Deyang Dongshen New Energy Company has been focusing on metal (aluminum) fuel cell technology development and product manufacturing. Currently, it has developed base station backup power, vehicle power batteries, aviation power batteries, and equipment power supplies. In July this year, the company received the first Zhang order-1,000 aluminum-air metal fuel UPS from Deyang Branch of China Tower Corporation for backup power supply of tower base station. At the ceremony, the first batch of aluminum-air metal fuel UPS was officially offline and shipped, which means that the aluminum fuel backup power supply has entered the industrialization.
One of the advantages of aluminum air batteries: high energy density, 100 kg of aluminum air batteries can make cars run 3,000 kilometers; the second advantage of aluminum air batteries: aluminum is particularly abundant on the earth, and aluminum has no pollution to the environment. The third advantage: the production of aluminum has a mature industrial foundation.
Sichuan Aluminium Air Power Industrial Park is located in Jingyang High-tech Zone, and features a “park in the park” centered on Dongshen New Energy. At present, Jingyang District is speeding up the construction of the park, focusing on the development of aluminum-air fuel cells and supporting industries, focusing on creating a new model for production, teaching, and research, and giving birth to the entire industrial chain.
