Idemitsu Kosan and Merck signed a cooperation agreement that allows the parties to use each other's OLED material-related patents in certain areas.
In the rapidly growing OLED market, Idemitsu and Merck are both leading OLED materials companies and continue to provide customers with a variety of high-performance OLED materials. Both have a long history of OLED material development and a large number of patents related to OLED materials.
According to this cooperation agreement, under certain conditions, the two parties can use each other's material-related patents to develop, manufacture and sell OLED materials, which will help accelerate the development of new high-performance materials (higher efficiency, longer life, etc.) R & D, exploring the untapped field of OLED materials by using different knowledge and experience.
Both companies look forward to extending the partnership to other areas in the future. The OLED market is expected to grow further in the display and lighting fields.
