It is reported that LG will use silver nanowire touch panels to produce smart home appliances to distinguish it from competitors' products, and LG products equipped with this new touch technology are expected to be available in 2019.
TPK Holdings declined to comment on individual orders, but said that its silver nanowire solutions will now target large-size panel applications such as signage, smart appliances and smart cars.
At the same time, as related technologies become more mature, TPK Holdings will also launch small and medium-sized nanowire touch panel solutions for smartphones and other products.
